Celebrity Cruises is giving one of its most popular ships a dramatic makeover.
The cruise line has announced that Celebrity Reflection will undergo an extensive modernization, introducing 13 new venues and experiences inspired by the newer Edge Series ships. The refreshed vessel will become the second Solstice-class ship to receive a major overhaul as part of Celebrity's ongoing fleet modernization program.
When the work is complete, guests can expect new restaurants, redesigned entertainment spaces, upgraded outdoor areas, and enhancements throughout the ship.
One of the biggest changes will be the completely redesigned Celebrity Pool Club.
The updated pool deck is designed to encourage guests to spend even more time outdoors, with additional seating, shaded areas, plush daybeds, two poolside bars, and expanded entertainment throughout the day.
Two brand-new casual dining venues will also debut onboard:
Orange Peel Bar & Grille will serve grilled favorites like smashburgers along with frozen cocktails, making it an easy stop for lunch without leaving the pool.
Tacos del Sol will offer build-your-own tacos and other Mexican-inspired dishes in a relaxed outdoor setting.
The heart of the ship will be transformed with the addition of the Grand Plaza, a three-story venue inspired by Celebrity's Edge-class ships.
The new space will feature a centrally located Martini Bar beneath a dramatic suspended chandelier, with live music, performances, and the signature chandelier light show helping create an energetic atmosphere throughout the day and evening.
Celebrity is also bringing back several guest favorites that first debuted aboard the newly renovated Celebrity Solstice.
The Boulevard Lounge will host entertainment ranging from dueling pianos and karaoke to games and live performances, while the nearby Boulevard Bar will offer handcrafted cocktails before and after shows.
Another addition, The Parlor, will combine a sports bar, game lounge, and social gathering space featuring billiards, darts, board games, specialty cocktails, comfort food, and oversized milkshakes.
The ship's top deck will also receive a complete makeover with the introduction of Sunset Park.
Instead of simply being another outdoor deck, the space is being designed as a park-like retreat where guests can relax while enjoying ocean views.
The area will include:
- Private cabanas
- Lawn games
- Outdoor movies
- Live music
- Meditation sessions
- Casual breakfast and lunch at Sunset Park Café
- Cocktails served throughout the day at the adjacent Sunset Bar
Food lovers will have several new dining options to explore.
Trattoria Rossa will bring authentic Italian cuisine featuring fresh house-made pasta and tableside preparations.
The popular Fine Cut Steakhouse, already a favorite aboard Celebrity's Edge-class ships, will make its way to Reflection with premium dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and upscale service.
Guests will also find Bora, a rooftop Mediterranean-inspired restaurant offering brunch during the day before transforming into an elevated dinner venue in the evenings.
The modernization extends beyond the new venues.
Guests staying in The Retreat suites will enjoy an upgraded sundeck complete with a larger hot tub and a redesigned Retreat Lounge.
Additional improvements are planned for many of the ship's existing venues, including Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, the Casino, World Class Bar, the Fitness Center, Camp at Sea, and several other public spaces.
Exclusive restaurants Luminae (for Retreat guests) and Blu (for AquaClass guests) will also remain part of the onboard experience.
Following its transformation, Celebrity Reflection will continue sailing from Fort Lauderdale on a variety of year-round Caribbean itineraries.
Guests will be able to choose from shorter three- and four-night cruises to Key West and The Bahamas, as well as longer six- and eight-night voyages visiting destinations such as Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Grand Cayman, and Turks & Caicos.
The newly refreshed ship will also host Celebrity Cruises' 2027 President's Cruise, sailing May 10-14, 2027.
Celebrity Reflection has long been a favorite among cruisers, and these upgrades bring many of the design elements and dining experiences that guests have enjoyed on Celebrity's newer ships to one of its classic Solstice-class vessels.
Rather than replacing Reflection, Celebrity is investing heavily in extending the life of the ship while giving guests more choices for dining, entertainment, and relaxing outdoors.
If you've sailed Celebrity Reflection before, you'll likely find it feels like an entirely new ship the next time you step onboard.
