After boarding your cruise ship, your first instinct is probably to head straight to your cabin. Unfortunately, that isn't always possible.

Depending on your cruise line, your cabin may not be ready until early afternoon while the crew finishes preparing hundreds, or even thousands, of staterooms. Passenger Falls Off Pier at Perfect Day at CocoCay

A cruise passenger is recovering after falling from a pier at Royal Caribbean's Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.

According to witnesses, the guest fell into the water from the dock while the ship was in port. Crew members and emergency responders acted quickly, pulling the passenger from the water and providing medical attention. Fortunately, the individual survived the incident. (CLICK HERE TO READ MORE)

Royal Caribbean Extends Labadee Cancellations Into 2027

Royal Caribbean has quietly removed Labadee, Haiti from at least eight cruises scheduled in early 2027, replacing the private destination with ports including Cozumel, Costa Maya, Nassau, Grand Cayman, Puerto Plata, Ponce, and Samaná.

The cruise line has not given a specific reason for the itinerary changes, saying only that it has "reviewed its sailing plans" and that the safety of guests and crew remains its top priority.  (CLICK HERE TO READ MORE)

Cruise Passenger Arrested After Ship Returns to Port

A cruise vacation came to an unexpected end for one passenger after law enforcement officers were waiting at the cruise terminal when the ship returned to port.

Authorities arrested the guest shortly after the ship docked as part of an ongoing investigation. While officials have not released many details about the case, it serves as a reminder that cruise passengers are not beyond the reach of law enforcement while at sea.  (CLICK HERE TO READ MORE)

Alaska Cruise Season Reaches New Heights in 2026

If it seems like Alaska is busier than ever this summer, you're not imagining it. The 2026 cruise season is on track to be one of the biggest in history, with record numbers of passengers and ships visiting the Last Frontier.
